Thumbs down Calais interior pic

It looks alright but no way near as good as the BA's

The VY steering wheel is ugly :dead:

The BA does look the more upmarket, but I have to say that Ford's photography is also better than Holden's, with softer lighting. The difference might be less in the real world.

Yes Holden do seem to favour underexposing all of their VY photos. Could be a reason for that!

Five LCD screens is about two to many. The steering wheel is very amateurish and the centre console is looking very busy with all those buttons.

This is undoubtably the nicest VY interior however and the guages are quite classy. I would like to see the VY's green next to the BA Ghia's white.

Also, what I like about the new Falcon interior is the new doors (inside). They look great. The VY still has the same doors that were on the VT and they look very tired and dated.

So so true, how much more will the Australia buy of this recycled crap Holden keeps dishing out

I choose to remain silent. Everything I say will be misquoted and used against me.

The Ford interior definately has the goods over the Holden. The 5 windows is a little too much green leds for my taste. While my VX2 Berlina has 5 green leds too (3 window trip computer, stereo, climate control) they aren't nearly as big as the new ones and therefore are as noticeable. The blue led's in the Ford are not unlike an Audi's and therefore matches nicely the new european styling.... very classy stuff.
And on another note, since they've now moved the fuel tank forward of the rear axle, the vehicle is nicely prepped for possible export?

The Falcon interior has evolved so much since the AU in 1998. The Commodore has changed to of course, but not to the extent and level as the falcon. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the commodore interior, but the Falcon is alot nicer. There also seems to be to many buttons on the centre console.

And who really likes such a big hazard lights button?

The Fords interior is beautiful, and the HOldens isn't that bad. But, to much green for my liking too.
