My XR6T was smashed into by a drunk driver (he didn't stop either) while it was parked outside my house about 2 months ago. After that was all sorted today a lady managed to hit it when it was parked outside my house. She left her details which is good of her. She was reversing out of a driveway and somehow managed to nail my car's door and rear 1/4 panel with the rear of her car.

I don't know what the hell to do with this car.. I will be selling it I think.

hope your premiums arent rising because of this.

I think selling the car is a bit much.

But i understand where you're coming from.

Within a month or so I had a lancer hit the side of our car, then a loser stopped at a set of lights reversed into us and then not long after that was fixed, my g/f nudges a car in front and manages to scrape the paint off the bumper bar.

You should be happy that the car's still fixable. Anyway, who says the next car you get won't be knocked up as well....

I know how you feel...kinda. Let a good mate go for a drive in my AU XR8 (I was in passenger seat) and this guy pulls out in front of us. We were travelling at about 60kph. Front end is munted (needs new front spoiler, bonnet and both gaurds) but repairable, find out more on Monday I spose. I feel like selling it now cause it will never be the same. Also I am 21...insurance isnt cheap, neither are the running costs.

I am also 21, so you can imagine how frustrating this has all been, especially dealing with insurance and hoping that the repair work is to my satisfaction. Thats the worst part, hoping it is repaired properly.

Yeah thats what I am dredding too. My mate said to find a panel shop I like and he will get it towed there and pay for all the repairs. If I feel like shit because my pride and joy got smashed I would hate to be my mate. I have tried hard to keep his mind off the subject but on Monday we will have to start dealing with it all. Cant wait. I keep going back to that saying "you break it, youve bought it" which I said to him when I threw him the keys.

Know how you feel mate, im 21 and am on my 3rd car.
Some idiot ran into me head on in my '62 bel air which was written off, then had my XW GT stolen (while it was on blocks mind you)...I can only hope my luck with cars gets better...

Edit : Then again, i *do* live in Sydney....
