gday, anyone know a good place to get a car bra from for a ba xr6? Got a price off one mob carbra, I think they called, that was $352. Anyone got any cheaper than that?

I bought my second Bra from Car Bra two weeks ago, Very good Quality, and the price is the same for most of the bra's, unless its a custom bra.

But in the meantime, the paint unevenly fades, and it basically rubs on it and wears it down anyway!! Not to mention making it look ugly!!

Well I would not go near a car bra. The guy we bought our car off had a car bra on it. If you look at it in the right light at the right angle you can see where the car bra marked the paint. You can see a line of ring imprints in the paint all he way across the bonnet where the car bra ended.
I dont know if this car bra was a cheap one or not but I still wouldnt touch them.
It all comes down to care.
You always make sure the front is clean before you put the bra on, i put a coat on wax on before puttungthe bra on, it just helps to stop scuffing.
But even without the wax ive never had scuffing..
Why would your paint fade
Do you plan on leaving it on all the time?
Mine goes on before the trip and comes off at the destination.
why the hell would u put those things on i swear i always see them on fords. what is wrong with u ppl. dont u realise its bloody ugly. its just damn embarrassing to drive with those things on. so u get a few little scratches give it a good polish and they will come right out.
for long trips ie 500-2000k's Id put one one without a doubt, Its all about caring for the paintwork which directly reflects the "Awe" effect you get from onlookers..
