Car bra for EL Fairmont

I'm interested to know how a car bra would look on an EL Fairmont - Mine is the dark green colour as seen below:

Apart from how they look, I also want to know how much they cost to purchase (brand new plus second hand) and what risks you run with using them...

Thanks in advance, Nick

Personally, i'd be shot before i put a bra on. I think the EL fairmonts look awesome as they are. leave it as is.

If I had a digital camera i'd show you what stone chips have done to the front of my EL Fairmont- its starting to show up bad

A bra is a good idea, although i have heard they themselves can mark your paint. i found a couple 2nd hand for 100/150 bucks, didnt have the cash to buy at the time. I'd be planning on double that roughly for a new one, depending on where you go

A bonnet protector and headlight protectors will take good care of the bonnet, but your bar will be up for abuse.

EL Fairmont
XY Fairmont

...mmm clevo...

Re: Car bra for EL Fairmont

my bad has had it. clear coat is peeling, chips all over it... its REAL BAD.
only time i'd use a car bra would be interstate trips, other then that i'd prefer to show off the front of my car.

Re: Car bra for EL Fairmont

ugh. Car-bra's are very imo.
If yo've got a bonnet protector, I'd just save the cash you'd spend on buying one and taking it on and off ( plus the potential rubbing issues ), and just get the bumper resprayed when appropriate . . .

Well looks like that was canned, the only thing really stopping me is the fact the EL does look okay - I would have almost certainly put on on an EF fairmont if thats what i got - thanks for the opinions fellas
