Re: Car Club

You can Google what you're after. If you want to start your own, best thing to do is create a website first with any required info on the club you want to start. Then, advertise! Some local papers won't charge for this as it's a not-for-profit organization. Some will, but you don't have to spend a dime.

Angelfire and Geocities are the more common website host names. Once the club becomes popular in a couple years you can register a domain name for the organization.

The best way to look at it is to think of it as starting a business. Advertising is your BEST option to get the word out. Be sure on the website to open a discussion forum (you can get code for this online, etc.) or build it in some web design programs. Once you do that you can discuss things such as potential vehicle meetings and so on.

Re: Car Club

I'd head to godaddy and pick a domain name. You can get a .com name for under 10 bucks a year which includes free web hosting and domain email. You also get a free website builder that's pretty much point & click. When things pick up, you can sign up for premium web hosting for as little as 5 bucks a month.

Words of wisdom, never wait for anything to become popular and then try to register a domain for it, someone will have that domain name bought with a hefty For Sale price on it. Trust me, I know
