Just interested in what car magazine people are subscribed to or regurlary read.

I'm more of a semi-regular reader of car mags. Like, I'll get one every month or so but I keep on switching between SM, PFM, Wheels or Motor (plus the odd Unique Cars or Just World Cars every now & then). I currently have a subscription to Wheels but will let it run out. I'll get a subscription to SM when my birthday comes up (just over a week, w00t)

Not a fan of Auto Salon, Fast Fours, etc, but I unintentionally swiped

an Auto Salon one off my ex's brother a while back, had some interesting stuff in it but that'd be something that I'd read at a mate's place or in a newsagents, rather than buy for myself.

My favourite read though out of all the magazines would be the reader's cars (Ford, Holden, Val, Chev, import, ricer, shitter, whatever) in SM, just love the "everyday" cars in there, they vary in quality/$/class so much!

I buy from time to time,Zoom, hpi, streetmachine, speed (it has an excellent layout with really pretty pictures),anything with an xd in it or that has good tech articles. As you can see i dont have a budget to make my own car as i spend too much money reading about everyone elses.

i subscribe to street machine and ZOOM but both have been boring me for a while, have not renewed street machine and only renewed Zoom cos there was a free high performance import DVD with it

Performance Ford Magazine and Street Machine for sure.

SM is a must so too is Ford performance and on ocassions motor or wheels depending on the cars they feature

HEY GUYS! I have been reading Motor and Wheels for a while now(I actually stopped subscribing since last year) and cant help but notice the obvious partiality shown towards anything HOLDEN by MOTOR magazine and even wheels to a certain extent. I understand that at the end of the day it is business and for sure there are more Holden fans out there but these mags are there to evaluate new cars and not show an obvious favouiritism.Its not just the covers featuring holdens but also when it is time to criticise something about the car it is always exaggerated when it comes to the FORDs. It is actually pretty bad because when u read through the comparos or features u can sense the subconscious leniency towards Holden. If u dont get this try reading through a comparo and u will realise it yourself.
Anyway I dont give a shit who wins. I love Fords and have grown out of the traffic light grand prix days(after $3000 in fines)

. As long it can overtake quicker than nearly 90% of the cars on the road I will be a happy FORDER.

I subscribe to Mustang Monthly... waste of time though, the buggers can't seem to get my subscription right, even after 18 months.
