Car thieves

From Sydney Morning Herald Column 8

Peter Dean, of Coogee, found his almost-new Holden Monaro up on bricks and jacks with all four very expensive wheels missing. "The courteous thieves obviously value good equipment because they put tissues on top of the bricks so as not to damage the brakes. Unfortunately, our courtesy didn't run to giving them undamaged wheels to steal, as one had been scratched. Sorry."

At least they didn't trash the car I suppose. Lucky it wasn't a Ford!

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.'So that was nice.

I think that's great; thieves who do that little bit extra for those from whom they steal, just to show they care! Reading stories like this make me feel that little better better about the world and all who sail her!

The wheel was probably scratched at Pre-Delivery or is it a security feature?

Yes and they were slotted and vented bricks as well with hand cut grooves for the racetrack... this MOAN ARO is worth an extra $5G's now.
