Car thieves arrested
Yet another story from The Telegraph
Car rebirthing racket arrests
POLICE in NSW targeting the illegal activities of motorcycle gangs have arrested nine people over a car rebirthing racket. Officers from Strike Force Sibret also recovered $1.5 million worth of heavy vehicles and equipment, police said.
The nine people arrested yesterday were charged in relation to the theft and rebirthing of motor vehicles.
All were granted bail and are due to appear in Newcastle Local Court on March 9.
In September last year, during its first phase, Strike Force Sibret recovered amphetamines with an estimated street value of $55 million, as well as firearms, explosives and clandestine drug-manufacturing laboratories, police said.
You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.'So that was nice.
