When I was working on my car on Monday I sprayed the manifold with an airblower to clean it off & managed to get a piece of metal wedged in my eye. Being manly & stuff I didn't bother going to the doctor for a good 30+ hours & since have been sent to Hospital & an eye surgeon & have to go back to them again tomorrow. I have now had 2 days of people continuosly sticking needles in my eye & it hurts like buggery & still not finished cause the metal has gone through my eye into my cornea not just sitting on it like I had hoped
So basically it sucks to be me at the moment so be careful & wear safety glasses & be careful when working on the car & if something does get in your eye go strait to the doctor & don't let it sit & rust in your eyes salt water like I did.

Hmm lesson well learnt a... unfortunately im lazy sometimes and cop it myself as well. :crazy1:

P.S. i saw ya on the M4 a couple of weeks ago (unless it was someone elses orange XE with orange interior?? Looks SCHMICKO mate.

I saw this documentary on either discovery or national geographic about magnets. Eye surgoens can use a special device shaped like a pen with a magnet tip on it. They some how use this to get metal shit out of peoples eyes. Looked really painful!! Let us know how they get it out....

It is painful they stab it fairly deep into your eye & move it around alot. It takes ages & I've had it done 4 times now & still going plus you are staring into a bright light watching it all happen

A friend of mine did the same thing a few months ago, and he had to wear a patch over his eye for a week.

Not good to hear buddy, hope they get it out soon with no side effects.

I have had conjunctivitis a few times and that figgin hurts so I imagine this would be about 10x worse, and thats gotta farken hurt.

I know about looking at the bright light...that bit suckss arse.
