This is always a good idea. I am fairly safe as my XA is pre pollution (except noise and I have already been busted for that) and my EF isn't modifed.

If you have done ANYTHING that may have an effect on the emissions of your vehicle DO NOT show your number plate unless you are 100% certain you will pass any tests.

It's better to be a bit paranoid and safe

hell yeah i have personalised plates and i would really like to show them off but dont want to take the chance...
