Just a small question. Which cars out of the total Ford Aust range actually PHYSICALLY enter the Tickford plant? Obviously the T Series and XR's and Mustang , but how about Falcon Fortes or Fairmonts or ANY other model for things like sunroofs, wheels, Momo wheels, suspension options etc. eg the Ghia is vct so is 'Tickford blessed' in that its the XR motor, but does it go anywhere near the Tickford plant or stay entirely in the Ford factory for fitment and finishing?
yeh i think they still do the LPG, or at least they did a few months back

[i]and other models that have Tickford fitted accessories.
Yes, but what exactly are the accessories. Like is a Momo wheel fitted solely in the Tickford factory or in the Ford factory. Can anyone that has seen the cars list ALL cars that actually do go thru there (not think they do, could do, might do, etc, but ACTUALLY do). Interesting about MX5's. Anyone confirm and detail such lil rats in the nest?
Originally posted by sundeep MOMO wheels are fitted at the Ford Factory. I know that for a fact because they fit all the cars to be fitted with MOMO wheels with temporary steering wheels. I saw them when I did work experience.
You can find out what things are fitted at the Tickford factory in the specifications brochures. Everything option that has a pair of Tickford wings next to it is fitted at the Tickford Factory.
Temporary steering wheels are fitted on production line at BM, XR's then go to Tickford to have these wheels replaced with the MOMO wheel
XR suspension is now fitted during production at BM
XR and T engines are built at Tickford, shipped to BM to be fitted on production line.
