The rain washed out qualifying on Saturday and the starting lineup was determined by Saturday's morning practice speeds.
Kenny Brack grabbed pole position at Michigan with his team mate Max Papis along side him. ( 2 Ford powered cars :D )
Gil De Ferran will start 11th with his team mate Helio Castroneves starting 19th and Michael Andretti 20th.
Dario Franchitti will start at the rear of the grid after blowing his Honda engine.

CART Racing - surely just about the best racing series there is. Poohs all over Supercars IMO.

I have grave problems forgetting about Greg Moore though. What a great guy and racer he was - and definitely a horror way to go. I still remember the exact moment I heard he had died and it seems so vivid and seems like just yesterday.

So, with Honda not able to run boost enhancing manifolds (same as Toyota it seems) Ford should be able to do some better racing from this round?
