does anyone know of a fix for the annoying as hell creaking sound every time you lift the lid on the centre console.i take it they all do it as im on to my second ba and it does it.

The only fault with my GT was that the console lid did the same. I mentioned it when taking it in at the first service (3000km) and it hasn't occured since.

pm me if you want to know who the dealer is. perhaps they can advise you as to how to fix it properly.

I had the same problem with my XR6, told the dealer when I got my 15000 service done and they fixed it, never had a problem since.
