Has anybody noticed how the eventual direction of a thread usually bears no direction to the original content. Sort of reminds of the line Jeff Goldblum had in Jurassic Park, ie with the water drops on the back of the hand.
Could be modified to follows.
"see lets start this thread, see how it starts off X and finishes up a Y, now lets start the same thread on a different day, you'd think it'd finish up at the same point, but no......"
I like to think of it as the natural progression of a thread, it all remains relatively relevant as the thread progresses, so I think it is normal... :s5
