Think this counters sponsors who say they don't want to be outside the United States? Maybe CART is talking about that OTHER North America...

This missive from CART could well be considered a Press Release So Poorly Written We Couldn't Quite Finish:
"Attendance at Australian CART Event Points to CART'S Position as Leader in North American Open-Wheel Racing"

Hey even Ford get it wrong sometimes; in the first few issues of the SVO part catalogue I have (95 & 96) they list Segedins Auto Spares in Mount Eden New Zealand under Australian SVO dealers.

Lets face it Jounalists rarely check their facts (not always their fault) in their areas of expertise, so why should be we be surprised on geopgraphy? It is good for a laugh.
