Check your BA boot for water leaks

I hope this is the biggest problem I have with my BA,
After driving on a wet road for about 5k on the weekend I went to get the kids bags out of the boot and discovered everything was wet! It turned out that on the front edge of the wheel well there are 2 grommets that were leaking, easily fixed but still annoying.
We have now done about 600klm's and are very happy with the way it goes, the trip to Rockhampton next weekend should really test it but so far, Well done Ford!!

Cheers, Bazza.

Yes it is an XT, 5.4 manual, Herrod suspension And Exhaust(to be fitted this week) 19" BSA( Ithink) wheels, tint and cruise control.

While we are on the subject, I have been thinking of de-badgeing the boot lid, What do you guys think?

Laminge,
I wish it was going to Herrods(then I could pinch some bits off yours) but the exhaust is being fitted by his Canberra agent. Gregorys Ford.

Don't know about where the XT badge is, but the FALCON badge has two pinhole connectors that leave two holes in your bootlid - you can't remove it without seeing them!

JR,
The XT badge is in the same place as your XR6 one.
Thanks for the tip on the Falcon badge.
