The Chevrolet Avalanche ,4 door pickup truck is coming. It has a choice of 2 specification levels, 2 V8 engines a 5.3litre or a 8.1litre,either 2wd or 4wd.
Chevrolet Australia is doing the right hand conversion at Rowville, Vic. They all meet ADR compliance. 2002 models 2WD are $80k and 4WD $88K. 2003 models start from $93k depending on specification and options. Hummer H2 are also available for $150k. contact www.chevroletaustralia.com.au

I saw an Avalanche in the states, it is one of the ugliest looking pieces of crap you will ever see. About a tonne of plastic on it too.

$93K?? your joking!!!! I wouldnt pay $5K for one.

Just had a look at the US Chevrolet website, and yep that is some kind of ugly!

Holdens 4 door Commodore ute will be available with AWD soon enough and probably half the price.
