blackout

On the eastern freeway this morning I caught sight on something that took some interest and had me baffled.

Holden VY SS Commodore in silver, looked normal to me. However, it had "LEFT HAND DRIVE - Engineering Evaluation Vehicle" sign on it. Yes, obviously was a left hand drive. So I thought I'd have a closer look..

Also noticed it had the Chev badges on it where the Holden badges usually are, where it usually says "Commodore" it said "Lumina" and it had the stock standard SS badges.

Is the Commodore going to take place of the Chev Lumina? Or are these the vehicles that go to the middle east?

I'm a little confused...

Last Friday I also saw a black Pontiac Firebird with left hand drive evaluation vehichle signs on it. It looked like a recent model, but they have been stopped haven't they?

hey, that actually reminds me of something, on www.omanhp.com??, there is a "chevy lumina ss", i thought "oh silly yanks, its a vx commo", but now that u say that...hmmm makes ya think., and obviously there is allready some over there, check out the site, damn that commo (or should i say lumina) rips a mad burnout.... just my 2 cents

When I lived in canada, my mums car was a 1996 lumina and it looked a hell of a lot like the VT.

i saw a black left hand drive commodore, it was behined me, and i couldnt see no bloody driver, and as he passed me. i looked 2wice, and thought what da ****? i thought i was dreaming... if it didht have a sticker on the back, i would have pulled up on the side of the freeway, and gone to bloody sleep
