Really good Christmas music at a price that can't be beat. Even though I wasn't alive when most of these were recorded, they reminds me of what I picture as a gentler, peaceful time on earth.

Some brilliant singers on that album , but most of the tracks leave a lot to be desired .I think there might only be about a dozen good melodys . But I'm probably biased as I have a lot of " Their greatest hits " albums and know how good they can be with the right songs . Suppose they are restricted a bit on choice as it's a one of Xmas compilation But at that price you cant go wrong . I usually find when I stick that type of album on at Christmas to set the mood , they listen for a short time and then start to talk over it .(My wife finds it hard not to talk and harder to stop !!) Whilst the family probably are thinking " that's the old yin playing his s*** again " Actually I was getting out the Christmas tree , lights and decorations just before I logged in as they'll be going up on Thursday . I think every generation can remember things that were better in their day , but also things they were glad to see the back off . After that rant , I think it's time to get the rocking chair out !!
