O.K. I know I am going to look a real dill, but...
I know City ford moved to Rockdale last week,
and I know that there spare parts division should have moved in on Tuesday, but I went there on wednesday, and couldn't find the spare parts place ?????
I could find the New car, and Used car divisions, their coffee lounge, and their new car holding area, but I could not for the life of me find spare parts.
Even one of the sales reps had no idea, (Or maybe wasnt interested once he worked out that I couldnt afford the XR8 that I was looking at).
Anyone know whats the go here ???
(Even there website has no address details)
Cheers and Thanx
Matt
I might be wrong but aren't (or weren't) they in Botany? Don't know the address but they're on Botany Road between the Lord Street intersection and the Southern Cross Drive overpass (on the airport side of Botany Road).
I did see on here ages ago people saying they they've shut up shop, but maybe that was only the sales part. Spare Parts might still be there. It's a pretty big place.
Anyway, I'm sure others will tell you for sure. My apologies if I'm wrong about the location.:oo1:
Yeah, City Ford Mascot has moved to Princess Highway Rockdale, Just up the Road from Super Cheap Auto and Brothers Kebabs.
(For all you Fully sic moite's, you should know where this is).
Spare parts moved last Friday, but as I said, I cannot find the spare parts division.
The nearest Ford to me now is Rockdale, and Dominelli Sutherland. Sutherland is a bit of a drive for me, and I drive past Rockdale about twice a week, but I dont have time to hunt around for the Spare parts place.
City Ford Mascot service and spares have both moved to Arncliffe. They are now separate from the sales area.
I can't remember what the street name is, but it's the one that runs parallel to the Princes Highway behind Suttons Holden. They are near the corner where the road goes under the railway bridge. Easiest way to find it is turn off Princes Hwy at the Saab dealer.
This all makes me wonder. Used to be that car dealers made people coming in for servicing pass the new and used car lots because it invoked a desire for a new car. If the servicing area is totally remote from the sales area, people aren't going to see the new metal are they? A friend who sells cars says he is at the service area early in the morning with a late model demo saying hi to owners. He gets lots of sales that way!

I know exactly where you are talking about now !!!!
(Used to work at the site that is now fast becoming another sheriton development !)
I went nuts trying to find it before, but at least now I have some chance !!!!
Also a little history on the Sheriton site, it used to be a cremetary, and the factory that was previously there still had the furnace, and the conveyor belts for the thing......
Mmmmmmm... Sorry, I got sidetracked,
Anyway, thanks again A.P.
This is very much appreciated !!!
Yeah just last week i poped down to City Ford in the new location in Rockdale to find spares, and they directed me to Arncliffe. Temporarily the spare parts lives behind the service area of City Ford in Arncliffe. Can't remember the road either but it's 4 roads after the Actual city ford dealership on Princes Hwy going city bound.
It took me a while to find it as well, but just go to teh service department and they'll guide you to the temporaty spare parts ection out the back. Talking to the bloke at spares there, he says that they'll be moving to the dealership in a few months time.
I use to always go to Mascot when it was there, guess now i'll have to go to rockdale not to mention that Fordham spares is in tempe as well so it's all on the way.
