Classic Car Ads

I love watching classic car ads. They have some old Falcon ads playing at the Ford Discovery Center in Geelong and I sat in front of the screen for a long time to watch them twice over. Anyway, here's one I found a while ago, and stumbled across it while backing up stuff on my PC yesterday...

It's an ad for a 1970 Dodge Charger 500.

*Dial-Up Users* - It's a 9mb file.

Anyone have some other classic ads?

They had a fair few of 'em on a Falcon (mainly GT) documentary I saw on the history channel over here in NZ... It really was in the days of Win races on Sunday, sell cars on Monday

Re: Classic Car Ads

How did they move the car on the sand without starting it up??? starts off being parallel to the ocean, then it's pointing at the ocean, then goes back to being parallel to the ocean....

But pretty funny though - imagine if they tried something similar today - womens lib goups would jump up and down! Nice find Pearly
