Hey Perth people, did anyone go to the classic quater mile drags at Sandlaford Wineries today? (sunday).

So many very nice cars, Lotus Esprite, Ferrari's, porches, 700hp skyline GTR, twin turbo V8 FORD GT40 Replica, heaps of hot rods, nice mustangs, GTHO phase 3, pantera Detasamo GTS's and the mighty Monaro CV8... ( lol just kiddin) but there was one there and it was ugly as hell.

So did anyone go?

Due to work commitments,from now till mid-april,i will miss ALL the good stuff.
Nitro funny cars,doorslammers etc.

Though it won't be the real thing,any piccies would be nice.

Yeah I went along , it was a great day and only 2 bucks to get in!!!
Was a pity about the "spin yer wheels and you`re disqualified" rule, but some drivers chose to ignore :s3

I got some photos, just have to get them developed and I`ll post `em ASAP

I went down for the day and slowly cooked in the 36+degree heat.It was great to hear the ferraris and turbo porches at full revs,
It was good to see some fords there,especially the twin turbo V8 gt40,people were floking around the car all day.
I noticed the new monaro and two clubsport R8,s which were gaining a fair bit of attention,I was hoping to see a new TS50 at the meet,but i might have to wait a bit longer to see one on the track.
The twin turbo skyline GTR,s were posting good times with virtually no wheel spin allowed,and the 2001 porsche had posted the quickest time of an 11.7 at the time.
