Why is everytime I turn around the name is back up for change..... Lets just leave it the way it is, or pick a new one and that it!!! So far if I remeber right we have had 3 names.
Anyway on the topic of club rego we have to come up with the name we want the final one!!! and then 2 other preferences.
Anyway I think it should allow people who don't own EA-EL cars should be able to join.... I put it to you that your 17 you are looking for your 1st car, your a ford nut you have a choice of falcons in your price range. Why not let them join? or you have your first car... it's a lil escort again your a ford nut. you love the ED XR8-Sprint and hope to own one later on in life why not let this person join?
I know that this is a change of stance from me. I normally say join only if you have the car, but i can't see the point anymore. We are more of a social group then a car club.
Although I could see a seperate club name thread being full of 'I dont wanna change it again cos i already got two pairs of stickers' which is totally fair.
Ben, I was not intending to bring up the issue yet again, but the dilemma of how to deal with non E-Series owners is best dealt with now. It seems that there will be multiple levels of membership - Free, Premier and Associate. This scenario is basically unavoidable. Then the question must as asked whether Associate members should be able to get Premium membership (remembering we need all the funds we can get), and who has voting rights.
Back on topic, the name is unchanged by this debate. My original post in the other thread is out of date.

i don't think the name has to change, the fact that its an 'owners club' hasnt turned off members so far.
concentrate on the more important issues. everyone's fairly happy with the name.
