At the first meeting of the Tas Xr owners club, I noticed one of the guys had cut a 3" hole in the side of the air box and attached a section of hose out to behind the grill as well as the original air intake. Another guy had replaced his air intake with the one off the T series.

I have also noticed in Motor Mag an add for SS inductions that have a new air in take for the AU as well. Of the methods above the one strife has posted certainly looks the job. I wonder what the falcon one would look like if they even make one for it that is!
Afterall they did say popular:(

I used to have one in the grange till I got over the bolt on mods it was better than the HSV cold air induction.

They back page reads Induction Unit to suit Ford EF - AU 6 cyl and 8 cyl and Fored AU XR6 and XR8

HSE2 dam if you were younger you would pick it from a mile away
:wink2: better viewing www.grungy-grange.com

The kit for the LS1 was made to use factory holes so I dont doubt that the fords would be the same. I think you need to watch a few tim the tool man videos
