Computer Gurus - converting wma audio files?

Does anyone know of any software that converts .wma audio files to mp3 or wavs?

I have just downloaded a heap of music that is all .wma format but am having trouble finding something to convert them so I can put them on cd.

Thanks,

As far as I can tell it doesn't convert wma files, only seems to do mp3 to wavs.

Best thing to do is search google for a simple converter. Just type in "WMA to MP3 Converter" and i guarantee there will be a site to download a converter.

They are pretty small and easy to use too.

I think you have to download a add on for media player to make it do conversions. And to make matters worse i think its a pay for thing.

On this topic, does anyone were I could find a "FREE" program that converts wav or mp3 to cdda? The quality is so much better.

I use WMP.... I just can't tell you how to do it right now, because I'm not on my PC with WM9 on it.

theres a sharewre piece of software called 'goldwave' (search for it on google) that allows you to open a variety of formats (ie wma) and save them as others, the later versions allow u to save as mp3
