I just received an e-mail from someone I've never heard of [BCath & Co maota@paradise.net.nz titled The following License. It contains 2 attachments,
accompanying.exe (140k), vd-1.gif (19k). Because it's gone to my Hotmail I can view the .gif without having to open it (it looks like a minature Media Player window) but I'm very wary of the .exe file. The accompanying text is as follows: "License Grant. HP grants you a license to Use one copy of the Software. "Use"
means storing, loading, installing, executing or displaying the Software. You
may not modify the Software or disable any licensing or control features of the
Software. If the Software is licensed for "concurrent use," you may not allow
more than the maximum number of authorized users to Use the Software concurrently.
I certainly didn't order any software from anyone in NZ, does anyone know if this could be a virus?
