Re: Concorde Panel van?

THe Ads for Pezoil (" make her wear less") feature a cobra and a holden (hq-hz series) panel van witth a "taipan" type font end.

I really like the way the door-handles have been flushed in on the Van.

I really like the Arcadipane concorde van. Remember when it was first built. Had a really nice smoked glass rear tailgate too, Btw the colour was a bluey silver and the stripes on the back are blue.

I woner wot became of it?
I love panel vans, but the Mrs says I cant have one.

Re: Concorde Panel van?

This isn't the Concorde but it has that weird looking front end anyway.

I was lucky enough to drive that Van from Canberra to Cooma as part of a convoy that included a 2.3 ltr Escort that was totally wild.

The Concorde from memory was all cosmetic but jeez we got some looks, I remember that the thing I liked the most was the four 2 1/2 inch pipes hanging out the back, but unfortunatly the rest was basic Sundowner type stuff inc a stock 4.9 and Auto box.(and it was pretty rough up close)

Cheers, Bazza.
