Thumbs up Congrats Australia

Well done to the Australian cricket team. What a performance, 359 runs. Fantastic. I missed their fielding efforts but checked up on 3 and they were kicking arse. Best of luck on the Sri Lankan tour. Well done to India for really giving the Aussies a run for their money. A draw in the tests and just about every one day match was a thriller. A credit to them on their efforts. Unfortunatly their sportsmanship and attitude leaves a lot to be desired.

Re: Congrats Australia

It was a good effort but I just hate how much they carry-on when they get wickets etc. Like Brad Williams...

Absolutely right on all counts. Just goes to show the calibre of both teams when things get serious. Top effort by our boys - it has been a joy to watch both the batting and bowling of the lads, particularly Hayden/Gilchrist/Symonds/Lee!!

Will be interesting to see when/if Warney makes himself available for selection... I'm keen to see this newfangled 3d delivery analyzer do it's stuff on one of his patented King Breaks(tm)

Re: Congrats Australia

warne should never be allowed back into international cricket imo. He presents a bad image and role model to too many young people and of course every other cricket playing nation. I am sure that there has been many more cases of his bad behaviour then the media has covered.

Re: Congrats Australia

Good effort when it mattered. Pity it is the last game of the summer... I am going to have to buy Foxtel now to watch the Sri Lankan tour. I love watching Gilly, Hayden and Symonds bat in the one dayers, so exciting to watch them cart 15+ runs off an over!

Re: Congrats Australia

Absolutely amazing effort by the guys. A testament to how well they play when the finals come around. Bad luck to India...I thought that they were better than that, it's a shame they didn't do aswell as I know they would have wanted.

It's freaky though that 359 is the same score they made in the World Cup final....again against India.

Re: Congrats Australia

I too wonder why Martyn was left in the team..... It was a great series. Warney will most likely not make himself available for the Aussie team, as he will need at least 12 months to bring himself back with the game, and by then the old age thing should be getting to him.
