I'm still a fairly new member here, but I do visit may car forums. One of them being a VL Commodore forum, and Street commodores.

I have sat back and had a look at how people talk, and react to the other brands. My observations are as follows:

VL Commodore drivers, are usually dislike by VN owners (prolly cus we have a more refined car). VL drivers seem to be fairly open minded to all types of cars.

Street commodores forum. These guys apear to be sheep. Holden this Holden that. "Fords are gay". That mentality pisses me off. Anti Ford Natzi's,

Ford Forums: You guys seem good, mature people, unlike the yuppie sheep from street commodores. You seem not to have so much hatrid for other brands, but still show your loyalty. I like that. And when some one really bags holdens unfairly, you put them in their place. where as street commodores would all go along with it.

Well thats enough. This is one of the most civil car forums on the net that i have found yet! (my forum isn't this civil!)

Well i think i can say that the majority of us here give credit to a car model or brand despite us being Ford nuts. Plain bashing of a brand is just plain silly.

Exactally.. a good car is a good car regardless of the badge on it. But we all have our loyalties! When i needed a fairly cheap car to run (cheaper than my 351c) a good VL turned up, and i love the car, but its a nissan, not a holden

Those engines are nearly unkillable..mines still running even with 33degrees of timing advance :)

Another thing that gets on my nerves is all the holden people saying fords a crap cus the didn't win bathurst etc. Besides the shell nothing else is holden! or ford! its like comparing a Toyota F1 car with a corolla! Bring back the Group A days i reckon :)
