Contacting Politicians regarding road issues - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

I forgot to post this before so I'll do it now - in the latest Wheels Magazine there were contact details listed for both state and federal politicians, namely the premiers/chief ministers for each state, as well as the transport ministers.
Seeing as there is often a lot of debate about the motives behind government policy in relation to speed cameras, highway blackspots etc etc within this forum, I thought i may as well post these details up so that anyone with a legitimate concern/issue who feels it should be addressed can have the chance to have their questions answered.

However, please remember that these email addresses are not here for you to send the odd abusive email come election time. If you have a legitimate concern/issue in relation to automotive issues, these are the appropriate channels through which to take them further, so please use them appropriately.

Anyway, on with the details. Remember to remove the 'nospam' part from the beginning of each address before sending.

Take it from me, copy in the shadow ministers for your MP. So, if you write to your local member (nice word that) like I do who is a Labor dude and he then sends the message to Carl Scully for his Secretary to send a form letter in reply you should copy all correspondence to the NSW Shadow Transport Minister. That way come question time the shadow minister can ask questions like why are Poltech speed cameras miraculously cured of all their ills and dodgy readings the moment they're shipped across the Causeway at Albury......

I'd like to bring this thread back up, as we all know the P Plater curfew is again on the agenda in a very public way. So I'd urge everyone who has a thought on the issue to please let these "people" know how you feel.

It's the numbers that will win. Send away - they cant ignore us forever.

dont accept a standard response. if you ask a question from a pollie, you are entitled to an answer.
