I was at a mates house last night, had my car parked at the front of his house. I was still inside, but he was out the front saying goodbye to someone who had walked to his house. They just happened to be next to my drivers door talking, probably looked as if it was one of their cars.
Now while they were talking he said a cop car drive by their house real slow looking at my car, then turned around at the end of the street and almost stopped in front of their house just looking at my car for like 15 secs.. then he said they did like a 3 point turn down the other side of the road and did it once again.. then drove off slowly.
now what i want to know is were they waiting for someone to hop into the car to stop them and give it a yellow, or what? Because I drove home sh1t scared, following every single road rule perfectly, just incase they were waiting around the corner (even though I took off like 3 hours after that).

Just mind games, thats all it is. Why don't u try waiting round the corner of your friends house oneday for them to leave in their car - it gets mighty boring.
A police car patroling the hood?
now if they would only do that over here!
yeah be carful XF they love to sticker you for the stupidest reasons, altho your car is pretty low! but still your car is in better nick than half the bangers that drive around!
It sounds like they were just doing a rego check. You'll probably find that it may have been a similar car to one that was involved in some incident.
I wouldn't worry about it. If there was any concerns, you'd have known about it that night.
I agree with this. I've been pulled over in the past for this very reason, no hassles once they'd established I wasn't involved in whatever had gone down.
Patroling cop cars are a rarity over here, usually they are parked on the side of freeways or multi lane roads adding to the revenue stream!!

Try having them sit infront of your house everyday! If they're not sitting around, they're doing laps waiting for me to come out of my driveway. As soon as my tyres touch the road, I'm pulled over for a "random check"
They dont do it no more, after a threat of legal action for harrassment.
