I have just had the greatest pleasure of viewing the new XR6turbo ute and XR6turbo car. They are both as good if not better to see in real life , however my query is why on the car is it marked as a AV and on the ute it is marked as a BA , both have the build month as JULY 02. Also if the new ford is going to be known as a BA would this car maybe become a collectable or will they replate it to a BA ?

JULY 02, this is a test car, and the official name is BA, not AV.

It was going to be AV but they changed it to BA as it was such a big upgrade over the AU. Basicaly whats happened is because the AU was a total flop we are now geting the 2005 falcon today :)

BA is the same kind of update as ED - EF. New engines, front and rear panels, safety and interior all changed.
