Took my car in today to get it's first service and dyno tune since the rebuild. It laid down 286.6hp @ wheels. Only like 8 hp more than before the rebuild. Still pretty good for what it is i guess and more importantly it goes alot better down low now, so i'm not too disappointed. Still doesn't go anywhere near as hard as i'd like it to, but i'm out of money so it'll have to do... for now.

Mate they never go hard enough and always cost heaps as well.
Your doing really well getting 214rwkw out of the 6 though.

Thanks mate, hopefully all the troubles i've had with it are now over. Down the track i might do head/cam, diff gears etc. but that'll all be along way off. Getting a bit frustrated you haven't sold the ute yet? Bet you're itching to get yourself into a BA...

Thanks guys. Unfortunately i have no idea on the torque figure, the other axis on the dyno graph is just psi. Feels fairly "torquey" to drive though.

Plans have changed on that front mate as i couldnt find a genuine buyer for the ute. I'm just holding off till my tax comes back (problems with accountant taking longer than usual) and then ripping the forsale sticker off the back and getting some alloy heads, new intake, bigger TB and a mild cam.

Power will depend on what heads/cam/intake we decide on in the end but should be between 190rwkw - 220rwkw depending on the set up. And a good strong torque curve. I'll let ya know dont worry
