Yeah I was there late last year. There is no way mt LTD would fit down the UK roads. My cousin has an Escort with a big block 1600, I was going the take the LTD but relised it wouldn't fit.....
Maybe I'll take the V8 Capri when I go back.. :)

Yes, my freind has a VN and I also have a 4th Gen Camaro.
I was considering an SS Impala. There is the problem of parking, plus in most cases you cant fit 2 cars on the road and have to wait till the other traffic passes.
Still I also have a "big block" 1600 fiesta which is good around town. No way you would want to go past 30mph on these roads.
Ive had the Camaro up to 153Mph though, got banned for doing 106mph on the M4 (153mph was on race track).
Its quite good though you can criuse the motorways at under 100mph and the cops wont blink an eye. In the 60's there was no limit here and of course in Germany there still isnt. They are talking of raising the open road limit to 80Mph its 70 now. Though if you did that you would have everyone else pass you.
One of the biggest cars in England??? Eh?? No way!
Im from Scotland, and well.....the engines over here in Oz may be bigger, but the cars arent exactly much bigger......take the Ford Granada (Scorpio), I wouldn't say the Falcon is any bigger than that, or the Vauxhall Omega. And a lot of our people carriers (MPVs) for example are way bigger than cars over here.
I have to admit though, its a great pic!
How much did that cost to impost to the UK? I wouldn't mind taking my Falcon back to Scotland with me :)
I can't see what the fuss is about really? There are OTHER big cars in the UK that have NO PROBLEMS with parking or anything. Well, certainly in Scotland anyway!
And as for Poms not being able to handle the shock....that may be true....but us "Scots" are quite able to handle something like that! :)
Just my thoughts :)
I have no idea about the 30th aniversary badge. There are NSW testing station stickers on the windscreen, so its probably some fool being trendy..
The beast is about to blow its guts onto the road. Things are getting loose underneath. Only cost me £500 so its not worth fixing really.. It would make a good demo derby wagon.
