CSV plan to offer 430+kw Mondo GT

Read this over at Aus LS1 Forum

Quote:
Just read a post over on another forum from a CSV employee.
They are currently sourcing the LS6 motor from the states to build a 7.4L 430+KW monster Mondo GT. They are also looking into the Drive-by-wire system as used by BMW to back it up.
He says to look at their website in approx 2 weeks for info about the direction CSV is taking. www.csvaustralia.com

Hope you are reading this Mr Herrod...

Holy crap! With the torque that thing will put out you'd need new tyres every fortnight (if you're gentle...)!

The guy that posted this info may not know what he is talking about, see Brendan's comment on Page 2.

Hmm interesting, LS6 is the evolution of the LS1 capacity is 5.7L, unless CSV are sourcing stroker kits for the LS6 if there is one.

The LS6 is the engine out of the Corvette Z06. How exclusive are these engines?.

I see that it'll have a drive by wire throttle control system.
People are already starting to copy the AV

LS6 was offered to HSV, but would have been too late (hence the C4B). Holden/HSV have full access to the motor, but not yet chosen to start using it.

the corvette has the throttle option as well,
the ls6 is available to purchase as a crate,
more likely though if its going to be a 7 litre c5r type config if anything
