Ooookay, I see things got a lil off topic here... Aaaanyways, back to custom paintjobs. Im not too crazy about custom paints - it wouldnt look good on my car in my opinion - but Im getting it painted in a couple of weeks (right, Ive been saying this for the last 6 months, but this time for real! ).

Anyhow, Ive seen a lowrider truck around here with a very tasteful rear paintjob, it looked very nice! If you have the cash and if it makes you happy go for it!

Someone mentioned chromalusion in this topic, Im all for it, if I had an extra $7000 to spend instead of yellow Id get creative and Id work on some weird chromalusion mix. Probe owners know Kenny Hynes ride well, beautiful car, he has a chromalusion purple or something like that Don - TangPGT- knows better, he painted it... Also theres a guy with a dark grey to black chromalusion twin turbo 3rd gen supra around here, both cars are a piece of art!

Bottom line whatever floats your boat! Now if I could just win the lottery the car would be in the body shop getting chromalusioned tommorrow!

Personally I think it depends on the car, and to what extent they are going. Custom paint jobs can be a working of art. I've seen an 18 wheeler that was "splatter" painted. It was red with large multi color circles all over. It looked pretty sweet. I've also seen a Z71 with that's was a midnight blue with a horse stampede mural pianted all the way around the truck. Again pretty sweet looking. Here's a Lumina Z34 that an airbrush artist submited to my site.

I think the exterior is awesome, but I'm kinda split on the interior (just not a fan of yellow).

But I've also seen a Accord that had a gradiant blue to yellow. It from the upper front being blue and the lower rear being yellow. I thought that looked kinda crappy.

So again like I said, it really depends on the car, and the paint job being done. When I save up the money I'm going to paint my Z34 a blue/green or purple/green chameleon. Not sure which yet.
