On my way to work i can't help but notice some bad exterior colours and interiors of earlier model falcons. I saw 3 of the Sky blue (very very light blue) EA falcons and all were beaten up.
Since day one when the EA was released i always hated that colour.
Alsdo another thing i'm not a fan of is brown/tan interiors no way will i ever have it a falcon/fairmont. Some say that grey/black is gloomy boring but i have to say i love it, doesn't get dirty easily and looks trick after a detail.
I guess Ford made the right decision to go the dark interiors on the later models, Warm Charcoal and Dark Graphite.
No offence to anyone owning that colour EA or a brown interior.
Whats everyones opinion.

I hate the brown interiors too. Some of the early Commodores had a maroon interior, yum!:dead:

there were some shocking interior and exterior colours in the 80s and early 90s. even AU1 forte interior looked shocking! i say black or charcoal is the way to go, or dark gray. brown makes me wanna puke!

That was a lovely colour, I was working at Holdens during my Uni breaks, and there were a few of the colour interiors made on the VN. went really well with the beige/cream exterior colour ..... NOT.
btw the colour was called mulberry, and GM ressurected a similar colour called Garnet for the VT Saudi variants, looked ummmmmm interesting.
Got to drive about 20~30 VN Group A SS's whilst @ Holdens, that was pretty good.
Forgot something else, GM had a finish we used to make on the ashtray called "Dot Green", it was a pewter colour with a very slight green dot screen print under the varnish. Now that looked crap!!, used to cost them an arm and a leg coz we had to get it done in the UK
Yeah i've seen an EF Futura Heritage Green with tan interior and it didn't look right.

Any dark interior colour is fine with me. I was happy with my AUI S but I do like the AUII dash better.
VT/VX dash is ok too. Both a functional which is the key IMO..
VKs had a Dark Green as well which didn't look too bad, though I still prefer a Dark Grey.
I own a Series II EB Gli and it has the light Grey interior which is OK, but the Series I has the darker Charcoal Grey which I actually prefer. I thought about changing the interior over (buying s/h from wreckers) but decided it was too big a job and could actually de-value the car so I 've decided to leave it alone! Plus the door speakers are smaller in the Series I.
