Has anyone seen yesterdays Telegraph regarding the "identity crisis" the three local manufacturers have?
In the article it describes how potential Commodore buyers are turning away from buying the standard models and asking for upgaded models , with "more chrome and different bumper bars", because of the similarities it shares with Magna .
Then it goes on to say that Commodore sales are going down from 3comms to 1falc -to- 2comms to 1 falc
".....Commodore dropped by five percentage points....."
while:
"......BA Falcon put on a staggering 54 per cent."
Moral of the story for Ford ; If you build it they will come
And for Holden ; the bigger you are the harder you'll fall !!!!
well they are wrong, its not 2 comms to 1 falcon, there is only a slight diferrence of a thousand commys, in January sales were like 5400 for commy and 4400 for falcon, how is that 2 to 1?
