Hey guys, thought you might be interested in the details of the two main damaged vehicle auctioneers in Australia.

I have just picked up a damaged EF2 XR8 M5 from an auction in Townsville for 5K and i thought some of you guys might be interested in what else is available around OZ.

As you can see a decent car can be obtained, for a reasonable cost, and keep in mind you will also have all the left over spare parts to sell once the conversion is completed to try and get back some of the purchase price.

And remember I'm in SA, so the auctioneers are delivering the car to me, coming from Townsville, I'm still paying less than $500 for delivery, so don't let the car get away just cause it's in an other state.

I am using it soley for parts to transplant into my EF Fairmont, the damage is to the passenger side of the vehicle, it has bent the B Pillar thus, the write off.

However the parts I want eg V8 T5 LSD are all fine

Hmmmm, I could use an EF/L xr8 for that price.

How's the interior after a stack like that? The left door trim totally buggered?

Some club members in Vic picked up an AU Falcon XR6 VCT for 2 grand, and the engine was fine. Went pretty well in an EA.

Wrecked vehicles are very cheap, keep in mind most people there are buy for a wrecker and don't want to pay a great deal for a car.

Remember: A Statutory write off can never be repaired for the raod, only for dimantling...
