Hello, I'm looking at this edxr6 do you think it would be worth buying??

1994 White, 5sp Manual, 150000kms, Light front and LH side damage, starts and drives VOR-147 $3650

price is good but cant really see much from that pic , looks like it is just missing a bumper...

I've got a bigger pic somewhere and it shows the bonnet is banged up a bit so that would probably need replacing too

you can buy complete ones in ok condition for that much. Look around

Complete EDXR6 for $3650?????? I'll take 5 at that price!!!!
As an idea there was a rather tatty edxr6 (white 5spedd) that had 250k in less then average condition(bonnet, front bumper req replace - rest of car average), that sold at auction for 6500.....
For $3650, spend prob a coupla hundred in spare panels, it'd be a safe bet you could make your money back.

If you know or are near a good wreckers and if you can fix it yourself and can paint it.. Would be a good project.
If its just pannel and plastic dammage not too hard to fix. If you need anything fixed I enginebay metal or radiator supportbar etc then its going to cost.

Depends on what the rest of the car is like. Maybe you can haggle it down to $3000.

I would say damage like that (hard to say) but it could end up costing you ~$1000 all up to fix. Depending if you can find decent wreckerparts at fair prices or cheap ford origional parts.

I reakon it sounds like a good deal i have been looking around at xr6 & xr8 of this model and later and i have not seen a ed xr6 for less than $6000 i reakon that if u can do it urself then it would be well worth it! i would like to do somthing like this but the parents are sick of me taking up the drive way with half built cars! haha!
but yeah i would say that u would make ur money back easily!

I was looking at that car the other day man. It's at Broadford. They had a purple one for $4k but that one was rooted.

Anyhow, if you think you could make your money back on it, and it is in good condition, go for it. I would.
