Well after many years of wishing, dreaming and wanting to own a Tickford vehicle, today is the day. :s5 :s5 :s5

I am so rapt it's not funny. Being the first car i actually bought. Still hasn't sunken in fully that i'm actually about to own this car and finally finally i get to be with the Tickford car club in pride.

I must admit i've sort of kept everyone in the dark lately bout whats going on. But naturally i prefered to keep it low key until the day arrived thus disguising it as "The Next Project". :s6:

Ok i suppose you all are dieing to know what car it is. Firstly I chose beauty over power so alas it's not a V8. But after a drive i really really fell in love with the car.
She's a Venom Red AUII XR6 HP Manual. I will pick her up on Friday arvo whilst surrendering the ELStock. So a nice detail for her on saturday and a cruise here i come.

Also would like to say that Uncle Geoff, Happy Jack and their team at Ford/Tickford have done really really well with the package of the AUII in style, performance and drivers appeal to the car.
I really really can see Ford getting back to the Number 1 spot in Australia soon. And lastly fordforums australia have made stick to the blue oval passion.

Well got heaps more things to say but i can't think of em at the moment as i'm grinning from ear to ear about this car.
