Re: Daylight Saving Time

Russia has it right - They just got rid of the time change and kept it at daylight savings time year round to simplify things.

Re: Daylight Saving Time

Russians aren't known to make up their minds. Vlad is knowingly throwing the thought out there just to make the citizens happy, he knowingly won't reinstate the time changes until the population starts uprising.

Re: Daylight Saving Time

Apparently there are 11 time zones across Russia. There's one area that's still dark after 9am! That would leave plenty of late evening daylight for backyard parties (depending on weather of course).

Re: Daylight Saving Time

I hear ya on that. Vodka's cheap for a reason. Even more so in some parts of Russia. When I was in St. Petersburg years ago, there was a small store that only sold vodka just outside of the hotel I was staying at. The time zones were also still in existence at the time!

I'm not too big on Bourbon, but I must say that this one is in my top five next to Glenmorangie Scotch http://www.heavenhill.com/brand/16
