decisions decisions...

ok people...

2 things i wanna do... not 100% sure on which direction to go....

1. Muffler... to tie into my 2.5" system coz mine droans a bit...

im thinkin lukey or redback straight through.. not sure on resonators or not... can anyone give me any more info on them?

the only other thing is 2.5" mod to the cat... think its worthwhile?

2. Cam....

im thinkin along the lines of wade 1521a cam... know it needs springs... heard something about computer mods... who can do these computer mods... 1 dad's mates has a dyno.. would he be able to?

any ideas folks?

cheers,

Re: decisions decisions...

wouldn't bother with the cat atm.
Mufflers won't matter.. just grab what evers cheaper (IMO)

by computer mods i'm thinking its more in the way of a unichip or similar...
that cam is a pretty crazy spec'd cam (all good) but the stock ECU prolly won't be able to fuel it too well.

The cam isn't *that* big, i agree...

But I reckon it'd be borderline for running nicely with the stock ecu, though...

Re: decisions decisions...

anyone tried the 1521a with stock ecu before?

i dropped an email to crow cams today seeing what they have to offer... 1 in particular grabbed my attention.. they mention that the computer needs re-programming, so just seeing whats involved and how much $$$...

Re: decisions decisions...

on the exhaust, just get a resonator put in the rear underneath the bumper, this will cut droning. id go lukey (actually i did) as they have stainless steel endplates. not sure about redback though.
