need info on a problems with au drive shafts any malfuncations to help with my case with my local ford dealer please help any info would be muchly needed and thanked.

I must have missed the bit where you described your problem?

If the tailshaft has been removed it MUST be refitted in the same place re the diff flange. ie same bolt holes to same bolt holes. Also there are normally more than one nut on some of the retaining bolts, these are for balance & MUST be returned to thier original position. If that is all correct then note the current fitment (in case you need to go back to it), then unbolt the tailshaft & rotate 1/4 of a turn in relation to the diff flange then test drive.

If that don't do anything for you, then throw some more info our way & maybe we can assist.

I think he had a bent half-shaft?

I think it it was common Aussie pete, Minge and Grunter would have had problems by now.....

Oh that drive shaft! Thats easy, stop laying rubber everywhere you go.
But seriousely folks.
If my memory works properly today, then I seem to recall someone having a tailshaft & axle replaced under waranty because they were both bent. But don't quote me on that one. I will see if I can find out more. [ confidence factor 3 out of 10 ]
