The Ford Blue Thunder monster truck, commonly referred to as the "Corporate Truck", is powered by a 540cu GM based powerplant !!! I saw it myself in person at the Las Vegas show. I was appalled by what I saw. I asked the Ford peeps in the tent right next to the truck, they asked me to be a little quieter. I asked why, do you have something to hide from everyone ? I continued to ask why they couldn't put in a SVO engine, but they had no answer for this.

I emailed Ford....NO reponse what so ever. I see no reason or excuse for not one single truck to have a Ford based engine in a series that they are the main promoter. Wondering how many peeps knew or care about this ?

Thats a shocker. They probably got someone to build it for them and never had enough input into the build.

and hence why if i ever owned a Chevy, i would drop in a Ford engine. i like my Fords and would be only way i would own a bowtie
