Since neither my Mum or my Girlfriend bought me anything with moving parts this Christmas, I went and bought myself something that did!

I bought a Nitro Buggy, on special for $599.

I have just finished running it in, I tuned the carby up yesterday and it started to really fly! It can spin all four wheels from a standstillon the concrete, the oil filled shocks work brilliantly, and it loves to get air and do jumps! Its even more fun in the dirt, it rips up grass and is great fro chasing cats.

My girlfriend was going to give me $300 towards one for my birthday, instead she is going to put that money towards an Edit for my Turbo (8psi). Good times!

I didn't get what I wanted either. I kept asking my wife for a BA XR8. She bought me a Ford Mug. Nice mug, but it isn't an XR8.

I wanted a TT 408 and Strange 12 bolt, that didn';t happen either. Did get some nice clothes, however.

When I was working with my dad, a guy we built a house for had a few (10-12) nitro monster trucks. I think he said he had well over $5000 invested into most of them. They were fun to play with, but I can't imaging spending that much to make a toy go fast, when I can make my car faster.

Thats why I thought $600 was a great price, I was prepared to pay over a thousand for a monster truck, but I wanted to go fast on dirt and road for half the price!

There was a 5HP nitro Monster truck for $1250, look mad, but if you brake something on it, it will cost you.

im too lazy to look at the conversion, but is 500, that aussie money? and if so, whats that to usd?

$599AUS equates to $468US at the moment.

I want to go cane it up the street but the batteries in the either the radio or the car are starting to go a little flat, and if I go out of range it just takes off and I can't stop it!

I need to get a fail safe installed so I can run the batteries completely flat.
