Hey, I'm looking at getting a digicam in the near future, just wonderin what people have, and can recommend.

It'll be my first digicam, but I'm looking for 4MP, decent macro lense, battery life etc.

I have a canon S50, and i am exetremely happy with it. john decided to get a Canon A80, he was deciding for an Olympus or the Canon. I know the Olympus have good lenses etc..., but i recommend the Canon!!!

just got a LS443 Kodak 4MP off ebay for 350.
Appears to be a neat camera so far....

There are plenty of good digicam's on the market so best bet is to stick to traditional camera manufacturers like Canon , olympus etc. Make sure it has good optical zoom and AA size batteries so you can get some good inexpensive recharge-ables as they tend to chew them pretty quickly.
