An update on new displays and goings on at the Ford Discovery Centre.

New cars on display as of yesterday

*2001 Mondeo Wagon Ghia Estate, featuring a 2.5lt V6 (very nice)
*'59 Tank Fairlane (all 16 1/2 feet of it  )
*'46 Ford Super Deluxe

Next week I will be involved in a workshop at the local Alcoa Poppykettle Festival which attracts over 3000 school students. In our workshop we will be painting a beautiful white current model Fairlane  kindly supplied by the Ford Proving Ground for the project. I have managed to secure a paint sponsorship from a local Wattyl supplier and am also taking along a large container of sparkles and some glue to add to the kids designs. The car will be on display at the FDC for the week following the event and will then be driven in a local street parade. I will take pics of before, during and after and post them here. Should be a lot of fun.

Sounds good felicity, if you guys bring the focas or Cobra R Mustang i'm drivin down to see it. :D :D

On car i liked at the Discovery centre was the Linclon MarkVIII. Not a bad for an old mans car with 209kw. :D :D
Didn't like the boot design with the upright spare tyre that gives a half circle inprint on the boot.
