In a shock announcement this morning Discovery (aka Felicity) confirmed reports that she had accepted a position with Team Toyota Echo Racing until further notice.
"It wasn't a difficult decision to make considering an inexperienced driver took out my other car in an accident last night, the main thing is that no one was hurt. The offer of a drive in the Echo came at a time of necessity really", she said.
"I'm really looking forward to getting some track time in the car so I can get a feel for it and become more competitive with the current series leader The Wiggles and Team Big Red Car. For the time being though I am allowing an extra twenty minutes travel time to all destinations, even to the corner shops", commented Discovery.
The sudden move to Team Echo is not all bad news though. Discovery reports that she has ordered a new blue helmet with a bell on the top just like her co-driver Noddy's. She is also looking forward to testing her theory that a car can be parked sideways in a standard car parking space.
"I am happy with the move in the short term", she reports "but I would be willing to listen to any offers from rival teams for a replacement vehicle."
:MUha: :MUha: :MUha:
(just my silly way of letting you all know my car was wiped out and that there is an explanation for the fact that I might be seen driving the Echo around. Chucky, you now outpower me in the Festy :bwhoa1: )
Yes I was driving the car. Perhaps I pinched a creative nerve in my brain?? :s6:
Forgot to add the PS to the story. Be careful on the roads guys/gals. One momentary lapse in concentration can create a lot of damage. Oh, and does anyone have any hints on getting the most out of my insurance company for my car if they decide to write it off (it's a borderline writeoff aparently thankfully the other guys insurance company is paying)
I found the dash takes abit of getting used to. Apprently it's offset to remain in your vision at all times. However after many years on looking down at a dash, you have to take your eyes off the road for longer while you look for the bloody thing!

Felicity firstly glad your fine out of the accident also good to see you can take it as humour and think positive about it all.
Hope insurance sorts it all out without any hassle.
