How accurate is DTE on the AU2 I hear you ask?

Well, my car was showing DTE 7km the other day. Pulled into the servo and proceeded to load the tank up with 66.81 litres (68 litre tank) after travelling 247km since the last fill.

I reckon that works just fine.

Yeah i reckon its quite accurate too, had it down to about 4ks DTE. I did a few more K's than you Pete since the last fill!!. Is that normal or is that with some of that driving i love so much. BSR girlie scream!!

Umm. Trailer attached for a good part of it and included that run on the Sunday when all the HP guys were having coffee at Sutho station... he he he Yes - girlie scream indeed! :s6:

lol i don't get girlie screams...................just a smack in the ear ...........by the way i'm a bit worried about taking my tank below quarter full in case i pick up shit. usually 400km's.

I think the DTE gets more conservative the lower the tank.

I can never get to the DTE on a new tank when doing the same driving for the entire distance and before in question (ie highway speeds, cruise on).

I have had DTE to zero with about 3 litres left I think.

Overall though it is a wonderful thing and very accurate - to the point where I do rely on it without second guessing.

on my XF it reckons i can get 680kms when i feel it right up!!!

Easy - don't sh!t in the fuel tank. Use the toilet and you can then safely use all 68 litres he he he

AP's formula:

1 tank of fuel, (approximately 65 litres) equals:

- 1mm of tyre tread on rear SP9000s
- 1/8th of an engine rebuild, approx
- $60 for Shell Oil company
- 1/2 bottle of Meguiar's non-acid wheel cleaner for the Azzurros

Hence fuel economy is a small issue.....:s2:

mine is shit it says 10ks till empty fill up tank 70 lt i have 85 lt tank
